JEDDAH — INJAZ Saudi Arabia announced it has achieved more than 2.5 million hours of training for male and female students and was able to offer various educational programs for more than 350,000 students from all over the Kingdom.

The announcement was made during the annual meeting on Wednesday under the aegis of Dr. Abdulrahman Bin Mohammed Al-Barrak, undersecretary of the Ministry of Education, and in the presence of members of the board and directors of INJAZ Saudi Arabia, officials of the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Labor and Social Development, and the Human Resources Fund, in addition to a large number of partners from the private sector, volunteers, students and graduates of INJAZ Saudi Arabia.

Speaking on the occasion, Abdulkareem Abu Al-Nasr, deputy chairman of INJAZ Al-Arab and founder and chairman of INJAZ Saudi Arabia, expressed his pride on the program’s achievements in the last nine years.

Abu Al-Nasr said: «In cooperation with of the ministries of education, labor and social development and the Human Resources Fund and with the support of private companies, the program was able to reach 345,122 students who benefited from the activities offered last year, where students were offered 2,745,530 hours of training under the mentorship of more than 8,500 volunteers from the private sector”.

He affirmed that the main objective of the INJAZ Saudi Arabia is to promote the knowledge economy to comply with the Saudi Vision 2030.

Akef Akrabwi, INJAZ Al-Arab CEO, expressed the organization’s pride in the achievements made by INJAZ Saudi Arabia to serve Saudi youth and improve their skills especially in the areas of entrepreneurship,
financial literacy and readiness for the labor market.

He noted that the strategic partnership signed by INJAZ Saudi Arabia with other offices in the Arab world and public and private sectors will definitely contribute to the achievement of the organization›s strategy for the year 2022 to reach 1 million students annually.

The annual meeting also witnessed the announcement of the results of “Ripples of Happiness” program 2016, which was implemented for the first time in Saudi schools where more than 220 male and female students participated.
