A group of psychiatrists and sociologists from Prince Naif University for Security Sciences recently visited the headquarters of the National Committee to Combat Narcotics in Riyadh. They toured the committee’s permanent exhibition to have a first hand assessment of the negative effects of drugs on the users. The secretary-general of the committee, Abdul Illah Bin Mohammed Al-Sharif, welcomed the visitors. Describing narcotics are the most serious danger facing the Saudi youth today, Al-Sharif called for closer cooperation among all the concerned government departments to put an end to the drug menace. — Mishal Al-Otaibi
