THE eagerly anticipated Nando’s PERi-PERi chicken restaurant was inaugurated last Nov. 20 in Rubeen Plaza located near Exit 2 on the Northern Ring Road, introducing its world-famous flame-grilled PERi-PERi chicken – Fit for the Kingdom.
This casual dining restaurant, which has become famous for its Afro-Portuguese style flame-grilled PERi-PERi chicken and cheeky identity and eclectic service style, is excited to be a part of the Riyadh community.
Every Nando›s is meticulously designed and entirely unique, with earthy textures and vibrant colors that reflect its African-Portuguese heritage. With thousands of pieces of original works of Southern African art that are a continuous reminder of where the brands roots, Nando›s is now believed to be the largest collector of Southern African contemporary art in the world, with over 11 000 pieces.
“Nando’s experience is truly one of Minha casa é sua casa, or in English, our home is your home and this is conveyed by our friendly staff, known as Nandocas, and our Patraos (which in Portuguese translates to head of the home),” said Richard Barclay, COO of Foodmark. “We are excited to be part of the vibrant Riyadh community that is always eager to go on new adventures, especially when it comes to food. Our launch slogan “Fit for the Kingdom” is in fact a testament of our commitment to the standards and requirements of the country and the people.”
Nando›s boasts a unique menu featuring its famous flame-grilled PERi-PERi chicken, which is always fresh, never frozen, and marinated for 24 hours before being basted in PERi-PERi sauce, the secret to its delicious taste. Nando’s chicken is available in Lemon & Herb, Mild, Hot and Extra-Hot flavors. The menu offers various options from PERi-PERi chicken to refreshingly creative salads, burgers, wraps, and desserts.
Whether indulging in a family meal, stopping for a quick bite, or relaxing with friends, each visit comes with loads of our legendary vibe and fabulous flavor, and “Fit for the Kingdom” – leaving you asking for more. — SG
