JEDDAH — National Biscuit Industries Ltd. SAOG, popularly known as Nabil Biscuits, announced the launch of their new range of baked-not-fried Snacks — Snackits.
Snacking has gone up drastically over the last decade, and with increasing globalization, our consumers have been exposed to a plethora of snacking options. Also, while on one hand, snacking has gone up, on the other hand, there is also a growing regard for healthier alternatives among the new-age consumers.
“It is this rapidly changing preferences of customers that we have tried to perfectly cater to with Snackits — which is a baked-not-fried snack,” said Unnit Mankodi, who heads sales and marketing at Nabil Biscuits. “Snackits is available in four lip-smacking flavors of Chilli & Tangy, Sour Cream n Onion, Cheddar Cheese and Salted, and has taken the entire Gulf market by storm. It is fast being seen as an anytime-funtime snack. Being a baked product, it is far healthier compared to other fried snacks available in the market.”
The brand has been recently made available across all Panda outlets and select supermarkets. There would also be a large scale free sampling program of Snackits done, in select Panda outlets over the weekend, and customers are encouraged to visit their nearest Panda outlet, and get a taste of the product. — SG
