ICAD has been accredited and certified by the Ministry of Interior’s (MOI) Central Licensing Unit (CLU) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to bid on, design and execute industrial security and critical infrastructure projects.
The ministry of Interior, through its Central Licensing Unit, introduced a couple of years ago standardized directives for the implementation of Industrial Security installations. For companies to pre-qualify, they need a track record of successfully completed projects, highly skilled engineers and technicians and a capability to commission and integrate a wide range of sophisticated security systems. This certification will see ICAD working closely on security with the stakeholders of leading industries such as oil & gas, energy, petrochemicals, railway, airports and ports, to name a few.
In remarks on the government’s validation of ICAD’s capabilities and know-how, Samer Issa-El-Khoury, Executive Director at ICAD, said: “With the increasing occurrences in risks and global threat, governments are calling for advanced levels of security. As such this accreditation allows ICAD to support Saudi Arabia’s government in its ongoing growth and development while maintaining the highest level of security. With this certification, ICAD will reinforce its leading position in the integrated security market. We look ahead to working closely with our national and international partners to achieve the objectives and goals of the kingdom by successfully executing critical infrastructure projects.” — SG
