JEDDAH — KSA Green, KSA Red, Elite CC and Challengers CC recorded crucial wins over their respective rivals in the JPL-Dream India Cup 2017 here recently.

The tournament, which is organized by Jeddah Premier League (JPL), is mainly sponsored by Dream India Group. The co-sponsors are Sunshine School from Hyderabad, India, Mahmood Saeed Beverage Industry, Elite Business Group, Paradise Hotel, Parvaz Hotel, Bawarchi Hotel, Khind, Halwani, Fusion 9 and Nestle.

Morning session

Kingdom Sports Academy Yellow scored 93-6 in its quota of 16 overs. In reply, Elite CC reached 98-5 in 15.2 overs. Man of the Match: Maqbool (2 wickets).

Kingdom Cricket Club put on 162-6 in 16 overs. In reply, the Kingdom Sports Academy Blue was bowled out for 120 in 14.2 overs. Man of the Match: Noman Ahmed (4 wickets).

Kingdom Sports Academy Red beat Hyderabad Strikers by 43 runs. Kingdom Sports Academy Red, batting first, scored 112 16 overs. In reply, Hyderabad Strikers managed 69 in 13 overs. Man of the Match: Abdul Jalil (4 wickets).

Al-Fuzail, opting to bat first, put on 87 in 14.1 overs. In reply, Kingdom Sports Academy Green reached 91 for the loss of 3 wickets. Man of the Match: Zawair (32 off 15 balls and 4 wickets).

Bhatkal (BCA) tallied 98-9 in 16 overs. In reply, Super Chargers managed 91 in 15.3 overs. Man of the Match: Jaweed (3 wickets).

Jeddah Cricket Kings, batting first, scored 115 against Jouf Jeddah Strikers, which cmae very close to 112-9. Man of the Match: Tajuddin (58 in 37 balls).

Afternoon session

Friends Cricket Club, opting to bat, scored 132-9 in 16 overs and then bundled IOE Cricketers for 131 in 16 overs. Man of the Match: Taher (59 off 29 deliveries).

Nazar Guys posted 126 in 13 overs, but Challengers CC made 131-7 in 16 overs. Man of the Match: Harris (56 off 31 balls and 1 wicket).

Telangana Warriors downed Eleven Brothers by 61 runs. Telangana Warriors, batting first, recorded 155-7. In reply, Eleven Brothers were restricted to 98-8 in 16 overs. Man of the Match: Muhammed Ijaz (69 runs in 29 balls).

Deccan Chargers, electing to bat, scored 112-4. In reply, Spark XI made 116-5 in 13.4 overs. Man of the Match: Omar (46 in 32 balls). Royal Challengers Mangalore amassed 177-8 in 16 overs. ICC Royals, in reply, was bundled out for 115 in 14.4 overs. Man of the Match: Mohammed Irfan (35 in 17 balls and 2 wickets).
