JEDDAH — The Bangladeshi expatriate children here in the Kingdom celebrated their National Children’s Day and birth anniversary of the father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mojibur Rahman on March 17.
Bangladesh Consulate here organized colorful events for the children. The children participated in several competitions. Consul General F.M. Borhan Uddin distributed prizes among the winners. He congratulated all Bangladeshi expatriate children those live in the Kingdom for their efforts and participation.
The Consulate also arranged free health camp at its premises for expatriate Bangladeshis. Bangladesh International School (English & Bangla section) also arranged various attractive programs for students. More than 1,000 students attended the event.
