The screen size and design, ‘Bixby’ the new assistant, camera options, and special accessories, are some of the new features of Samsung’s 2017 flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+.
Galaxy S8 comes in five different colors,including, orchid gray, midnight black, and coral blue, this was mentioned during ‘Unpacked’ press event that was held in New York on Wednesday.
According to Public Relations Manager in Saudi Arabia, Qusai Mukhtar, Galaxy S8 screen, sports an 18.5:9 ratio that makes it the closest cinematic experience a consumer can get on a smart phone.The S8 has a 5.8” screen and 6.2” for the S8+ with a very ergonomic grip and so much good of a design to look at.
The device has an infinity and almost bezel free display, so the company has reorganized the layout of the phone’s interior. The phone is super slim and not heavy in holding.
Mukhtar said, “Bixby, the new assistant, can now do so much more than the rest, like complix voice commandsI mean, instead of going into the settings menue and look for the right tab that has the brightness settings, you can simply ask Bixby to set the brightness to Max and it would magically do that for you. Bixby, of course, doesn’t stop there, it can also “look” for answers or more details, like taking a photo of a book and it would show you details about it and it would also show you where to buy it online from.”
For people who always love to capture the moment, Galaxy S8 takes gives you the option of capturing multiple shoots at the same time and then you can combine the best parts of them. The 8 megapixels front camera would also give the selfies lovers sophisticated experience and it has autofocus option.
The S8 has a new great accessory, a fine addition to Samsung’s ecosystem , like the new versions Gear VR but this time with a motion controller, which is Samsung DeX Station, S8 users could be utilizing the smartphone easily like a computer through connecting it to an external display, mouse, and keyboard.
“This docking station allows for an either net connection, 2 usb ports and an HDMI cable, which when connected to a screen, would transform the user experience from a portrait smart phone orientation into a landscape desktop experience where your apps would open on floating resizable windows. it is a great way for those who are always on the go and like to travel light but like to be fully prepared for a presentation or any other microsoft task while multi-tasking on other things as well,” Mukhtar said.
Gear 360 camera is an accessory That gives users the chance of taking videos and photos in 360 degrees. It can capture 4K videos for live broadcasting and upload it onspot to YouTube.
