RIYADH — FMJ Productions and Global Events Consortium (GEC) delivered a quality family activity recently at Kingdom Hospital Recreation Center here. Muthadz J. Latip (chairman FMJ), in collaboration with Naffay Hussain (president – GEC) organized a very unique family entertainment event by the name of Family Fun Day attended by over 4,000 people from different nationalities. The event was sponsored by FRiENDi mobile, Enjaz and Milagrosa whereas the supporting sponsors were Knowledge Core, Al Kabeer, Tim Hortons, Cold Stone, AR Sports, Almarai, OSN, Mathaqi, Mia Bella, Star Printing, Print Hub and Rancho Restaurant.
In addition to the above, several vendors participated in the event to provide the audience with delicious food, souvenirs, kids toys, fashion clothes, cosmetic products etc. Moreover various booths were set up to showcase talent such as live sketching, painting, photography, face painting, henna arts, medical facility, and a lot more. Mega raffle draws were carried out after every hour and the lucky winners were awarded by gift bags sponsored by Al Kabeer & OSN, Sports Items sponsored by AR Sports, Smartphones & Recharge Vouchers sponsored by FRiENDi mobile, LED TVs sponsored by FMJ & GEC.
The stage activities were kicked off by the hosts, who highlighted the upcoming performances and introduced the chief guests and judges for the contest. Omair Shaikh (VI Productions) and Sajin Nishan (Gulf Media) then conducted the proceedings and set the stage on fire throughout the show. The Chief Guests were Iram Amir, Sajida Chaudhry, Ehsan Abbasi and Dr. Mujahid, who were accompanied by principal guests Faez Chaudhary, Raheel Qureishi, Dr. Nada Adnan, Tasadduq Gilani and Waqar Wamiq.
MJ Latip summed up the evening by thanking all those who had played a role in setting up the event where Naffay Hussain, co-event organizer, was their backbone and other organizations who played vital role in the success of the show such as Aspire Productions, Riyadh Talkies, Gundamist, Kairali TV, FAPS, COMSOFIL and The FrayMakers. MJ and Naffay thanked official photographers Talal Safdar and Adnan Waheed for their efforts in covering the event. The officers of Family Fun Day included Jeffrey John, Adil Sheikh, Salman Anwar, Thankachan Varghese, Charlotte Villones and Chaddy who played an integral role before and during the event. Moreover, Naffay Hussain thanked the supporting team including Faisal Bajwa, Saweera Iftekhar, Saud Sheikh, and Burhan Wahid. Billal Arshad and Team BCP interviewed the audience, guests and participants.
The evening ended with Sajin and Omair by thanking the audience after the award ceremony where appreciation shields/certificates were awarded to the performers, volunteers, and all the organizations and individuals who played a role in making it a huge success.
