‘Abu Dhabi Your Extraordinary story’, is not only a title of a campaign video, but also is the delivered message by the exhibitors during a roadshow that was organized by Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority (TCA Abu Dhabi) d in Jeddah on Wednesday.
Several Emirati and international hotels, located in Abu Dhabi, participated in the event aiming to educate people about their properties’ services. One of these hotels, Marriott Hotel Al Forsan, which was launched at the beginning of this year, extolled its virtue.
The hotel has around 400 guest rooms and suites. For people who love riding horses, this property would be a smart choice for them in Abu Dhabi since the area is popular for horseback riding. Yas Waterworld is 9.7 km from the property.
Another exhibitor at the TCA Abu Dhabi show was Danat hotels and resorts and it provided the event visitors with information about their nine properties in United Arab Emirates. Each one of their hotels and resorts give different experience such as, Tilal Liwa Hotel that gives it guests a special traditional Arabic Experience.
Tourism companies and Celebrity X Cruises also presented their services during TCA Abu Dhabi roadshow in Sofitel Jeddah. The roadshow has already taken place also in Riyadh and will be held next in Al-Khobar.
It was mentioned that around 113 flights are available every week between different cities in the Kingdom and Abu Dhabi. Etihad Airways operates 70 flights from Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam and Madinah to Abu Dhabi with Saudi Airlines and Nas Air providing a further 43 flights a week.
In 2016, Abu Dhabi guest arrivals increased by 9 percent on the previous year to 146,747, making Saudi Arabia the sixth largest international source market. These guests provided 350,572 guest nights, which was an increase of 13 percent over 2015 and they also stayed in the emirate for longer periods.
