RIYADH — Pakistan Embassy in collaboration with Bazm-e-Riaz conducted a thought provoking event “Youm e Tajdeed e Ehd” at the mission’s Chancery Hall here.
Charge d’ Affaires Hassan Wazir was the chief guest on the occasion and President of Bazm-e-Riaz Tasadduq Gilani presided over the session.
Bazm’s secretary general Tanveer Mian conducted the proceedings of the event. The opening remarks were given by the Head of Chancery Sardar Muhammad Khattak.
Qari Naimatullah gloriously recited some verses of the Holy Qur’an, and Abid Shamoon Chand presented the naat at the start of the event.
Senior executive of Bazm-e-Riaz Dr. Tariq Aziz gave the welcome note and highlighted the mission and vision of Bazm, talented singer Noor Lalaani presented the national song.
A documentary “The Story of Pakistan” made by the Pakistan government was aired during the event, and it was the main attraction. The documentary was highly appreciated by the audience.
Gilani in his key note speech linked the future of Pakistan with it’s great history. Senior executive of Bazm Dr. Saeed Ahmed Vaince presented Kalam e Mian Mohammad Baksh whereas Tanveer Mian presented a famous national song in their unique and inspiring styles.
Chief guest Hassan Wazir highlighted the message of Pakistan day resolution and urged the Pakistanis to follow the teachings of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, He also appreciated the event and efforts of Bazm-e-Riaz.
The event was attended by large number of Pakistani community, including women.
