DAMMAM/JEDDAH/RIYADH — The International Indian School Dammam (IISD) continued with its tradition of excellence in the CBSE Grade XII Board examinations and scored 99.2 percent pass result. In all 712 students of the school appeared in the examinations.
The overall topper Kingdomwide was Roshan Raju, who secured 97.2 percent in the science stream. Gaurav Verma and Shahna Medar Manzil secured 97 percent and shared the second position in the school. Atharva Dixit secured third position with 96.4 percent in science stream.
In humanities stream Atulya Mohan scored 96.8 percent and stood first in the school and in the Kingdom. In commerce stream Carolin Elizabeth secured 96 percent and stood first while second position was shared by Aishwarya Menon and Bilal Siddika, scoring 95.4 percent. Nafisa Afreen scored 94.8 percent for 3rd position.
In commerce 258 students appeared while in science 372 and in humanities 86. In humanities Yusra Khan scored 96.2 percent and Mahrosa Ismail scored 95.8 percent and stood in second and third positions respectively. Dennis got 89.8 percent in humanities.
There were many students who scored 100 percent in various subjects. Roshan secured 100 percent in chemistry while Varsha Karuvantavida and Atharva Dixit scored 100 percent in mathematics. Naziya Zaina Naufal and Yusra Khan scored 100 percent in biotechnology and psychology respectively.
Chairman Dr. Syed Zainul Abidin, members of the managing committee and the principal congratulated all toppers and their parents.
The International Indian School, Jubail, was jubilant over this year’s result. According to statistics and percentage break up provided by the school in all 198 students, 124 girls and 74 boys, appeared in the examination out of whom 196 passed,
Nanduri Shrishti of science stream scoring 96.4 percent topped in the school, while Abdul Rahman and Hiba Nisar jointly stood second with 96.2 percent. In commerce stream Reaeesa Shahul scored 93.8 percent and was the topper followed by Samar Shaikh who scored 92.6.
The chairman and members of the school managing committee congratulated the students for their remarkable achievement.
The International Indian School, Jeddah, also maintained the legacy of excellent performance in the Grade XII examinations. Girls outdid the boys both in quality as well as quantity with no failures.
Amina Ashraf topped the school with 97.2 percent followed by Afreen Hooriya Nacer Uddin, who scored 96.25 and Amal Shameer 96 percent who also scored 100 percent in home science.
Mohammed S. Ahmed and Mohammed Amir Aqeel scored 95.4 percent each — the highest among boys followed by Mujtaba, who scored 95.2 percent and Hitesh Kumar Dhanda, who scored 94.5 percent.
A total of 511 students had appeared for the examinations and 36 of these students secured 90 percent and above, 470 students passed with 60 percent and above, 20 are placed in compartment and one failed. There are 1,379 distinctions in various subjects and 554 A1 grades. The mean score of the school is 75.31 percent.
The school management and staff congratulated the toppers and their parents for their proud achievement.
The International Indian School, Riyadh (IISR) too produced excellent results. The number of students who appeared was 649 and out of which 606 students passed, for a total pas percentage of 93.37. The number of students getting distinctions was 241, first class with distinction 475, second class 46 and pass class one.
G.D. Jessy Daphne stood first in the school with a 97.2 percent in the science stream. Muhammed Suhail with 95.8 percent came second and Ayesha Ahmed with 95.6 percent third. In the commerce stream: Kalyanam Janine M. (93.8), Syeda Yusraa (93.4) and Sumayya (90.8) took the top three spots in that order and in arts stream, Asiya V.P.A. (95), Jennifer Ellen Daniel (92.8) and Afrah Moghis (92.4) finished first, second and third respectively.
In the International Indian Public School, Riyadh, Syed Aaqid Sira (95.2), Mohammed Sahal (94.2) and Mohammed Abdul Khaliq (93) finished in the top three positions in that order.
Al-Yasmin International School, Riyadh, too achieved good results with eight of its students securing distinction and six first class. The school toppers are Nihal M Naeem with 92.4 percent (physics, chemistry, math and computer science) and Mubeena Hameed with 90.6 percent (English and biology).
Al-Mawarid International School registered 100 percent compartment free pass results. This is the eighth straight year that the school has got 100 percent results. All 67 students who appeared for the examination passed with 33 distinctions, 31 first class and 3 second class.
In the science stream Hasana Vengassarey stood first with 95.6 percent and Zaiba Khurshid Molvi stood second with 88 percent. In the commerce stream, Mohammed Azam Ali topped with 89 percent and Ismael Ahmad Saleh stood second with 87 percent.
