JEDDAH — Renowned Pakistani diver in Jeddah Yeheya Ishfaq celebrated Iftar under water at Laplag beach North Obhar under 160 feet deep at Red Sea.

The event had two sessions. The first session began after Asir prayer at 4:30 p.m. when he and his team members including Omer Jan, Ayub Petal, Qazi Ajmal and Zahid Butt took lights, dining mat and both flags of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

In second session they went at 6:45 p.m. with Iftar (Ramadan food items) dates, fruits etc.

All of them were fasting. Omer Jan gave Azan under water on time by following the time on his watch. Then they opened their fast and offered prayers in deep sea.

Speaking to Saudi Gazette Yeheya Ishfaq said, “I am dedicating this record event to my favorite team Peshawar Zulmi Champion of Pakistan Super League (SPL) 2017. I am fan of Jawaid Afridi. I wore Peshawar Zulmi T-Shirt and went under water.”

He said in 24 hours on the social media 5 million people watched the video and liked it. This is a record. No one till now has opened fast and offered prayer under sea deep 160 feet said Ishfaq.
