JEDDAH — KBN Engineering College Alumni Jeddah Chapter organized an Iftar meet on June 9 at local restaurant here for its alumni members residing in Makkah and Jeddah.

President of the Alumni Syed Nasir Khursheed said this platform is a group of technocrats and a place to help each other by their technical skills. He appealed to alumnus to come forward and strengthen the alumni to work more effectively.

Vice President of alumni Saleh Bin Ali spoke about aims and objectives of alumni and advised the alumni members to get connected with the latest technologies in the respective fields and implement in their career enhancements.

Coordinator of the alumni Amjad Ali described the Iftar program as an opportunity to meet and interact with each other. PR Coordinator Mohammed Ismail Zubair highlighted the achievements of alumni in these years by conducting technical seminars and workshops.

IT Coordinator Syed Qutbuddin said we have lot of programs in pipeline to be conducted by alumni, and Cultural Secretary Tabrez Hussain said close coordination between members and executive committee can bring about more positive results.

The program started with the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an by Aamer Ali, who spoke about the importance of holy month of Ramadan.

The welcome speeches were delivered by General Secretary Syed Mohiuddin Ahmed and Treasurer Abubakar Bin Hussain. Joint Secretary Imdad Ali was master of ceremony and vote of thanks was delivered by Chief Coordinator Mohammed Yahiya. — SG
