JEDDAH — Dr. Fareed Ahmed Paracha, deputy Ameer Jamaat e-Islami Pakistan and Ex- member of national assembly (MNA), said Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) would call an all parties conference (APC) after Ramadan-ul-Mubarak.
Addressing to the seminar titled ‘’Ramadan and Our Responsibilities” organized by Samaji Rabta Committee (SRC) Jeddah at Spice Village restaurant, Azizia, Dr. Paracha said first of all we should be thankful to the Almighty Allah that we have this blessed month of Ramadan.
“This is the month of generosity and increased brotherhood, mutual love, care and charity towards the poor and needy,” he added.
He said Pakistan came into existence on Qur’an night. Just like the Qur’an will remain until the Day of Judgment. Pakistan will remain established as a nation.
He said we must follow Allah and the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and our responsibility is to call people to do good and forbid evil.
Dr. Paracha said, “JI will continue its struggle for the implementation of the Islamic system in the country. The party will get better results in the next election with some seats adjustment.”
He said to ensure coming elections are free and fair we are calling APC after Ramadan and raised the following pints.
The interim government should be established with consensus. The Election Commission should be independent and have authority over financial and administrative control.

Rights of vote for overseas Pakistanis.
Booths during the polling should be at one-kilometer distance and Election Commission should arrange transportation for voters just like in Bangladesh.
Earlier, the seminar started with recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an by Iqbal Malik. Zamurrad Saifi present poem on Ramadan.
Asif Mahmoud Butt, who conducted the seminar, welcomed all guests. He also gave a brief introduction of Dr. Paracha.
Niaz Ahmed chairman, Pakistan Writer Forum (PWF), Habib ur Rehman Khan, board member Alkhidmat Mawakhat program and Mumtaz Sethiob, general secretary Jamaat-e-Islami Sindh, were guests of honor.
Number of media representatives, distinguished members from Pakistani community attended the seminar. Altaf Awan chairman SRC, gave vote of thanks. Habib-ur-Rahman made prayers for prosperity and security of all.
