LONDON — Korma crazy Dan Toombs spiced up his life by feeding his family curry every day for a year.

Father-of-three Dan, 47, began making his own Indian treats after forking out a fortune on takeaways, social medial networking website MirrorOnline reported.

He set himself the challenge of making 365 curry dishes in a row — including a Christmas Day banquet of spicy turkey with Bombay potatoes.

Sales boss Dan said: “The children took a while to get used to Indian food every day but grew to love it. On Christmas Day I put Indian spices under the skin of the turkey and cooked it with Bombay potatoes and a broccoli curry. It was a great success and the turkey leftovers lasted for days.”

California-born Dan, who lives with wife Caroline, 40, and children Katy, 15, Joe, 13, and Jennifer, nine, in Northallerton, North Yorks, claims his recipes are much healthier than takeaway versions — and his family have stayed trim throughout the year. — Agencies
