RIYADH — Two groups of Saudi youth have launched YouTube channels in Arabic and Persian to uncover extremist groups in the Kingdom and expose the Iranian regime’s interference in the region and its support for global terrorism.

The Adlaja program, which is first of its kind on YouTube, aims to educate Saudi society about extremist groups that recruit young Saudis for terrorist organizations.

It is managed by three young Saudis inspired by their nationalistic zeal to safeguard the Kingdom. They expose extremist groups giving their names and photos in order to isolate them and prevent them from undermining the country’s security and stability.

Adlaja has already produced four episodes giving details of extremist groups. The four episodes contain about 400,000 scenes. The first episode exposes the false sanctity of certain individuals on Twitter.

The second episode explains contradictions in statements of extremist scholars and their exploitation of social media networks to instigate people against security officers and the Saudi leadership for detaining militants involved in terrorist attacks across the Kingdom.

The third episode focuses on leaders of political Islam who try to weaken the relations between Saudi Arabia and the UAE and try to create chaos and confusion in certain Arab countries, making use of social media networks and Muslim Brotherhood websites.

The fourth episode titled “Qatar the extremist son” highlights Doha’s endeavors to undermine security of GCC countries and Al Jazeera television channel’s support for Yousuf Al-Qaradawi, a terrorist wanted for his role in instigating people against some Arab and Gulf countries.

The episodes of Adlaja are prepared by Rami Badr and Fahd Hamid and produced by Abdullah Zayed.

Nuqtat Purkar (Al-Furjar) is the first Saudi program on YouTube in Persian. It exposes Iran’s political and social crisis, poverty of its people and their backwardness in health and education as the Iranian regime spends its money to support terrorist groups worldwide to shake global peace and security.

The program also highlights the Iranian media’s efforts to create hatred against other countries. The first episode in this channel features an interview with Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, who speaks on Saudi-Iranian relations and Tehran’s subversive activities in the region.

The program is the brainchild of Mohammed Al-Amri who has been given technical support by Naif Al-Khodair, Abdul Rahman Al-Ghamdi, Turki Al-Muzher, Sultan Abushal, Khaled Al-Shalvi, Abdullah Al-Awadi and Sultan Al-Baqami. It’s produced by Adnan Al-Ghamdi.
