Ahsa preps to receive Gulf pilgrims

AHSA – The Ahsa mayoralty has completed its preparations to receive pilgrims coming from Oman, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, among others.



During its annual meeting Monday the mayoralty discussed the challenges ensued last year during Haj and devised plans to overcome them.



Authorities of the region were also instructed to treat pilgrims with utmost hospitality at the entry points.



A committee was set up to supervise the work of the medical clinic run by the Ahsa Health Affairs Directorate.



Booklets and pamphlets about Haj have been printed to be distributed to pilgrims. Police officials and civil defense have set up check posts at various points to ensure the safety of pilgrims.
