DUBAI — Sandance produced yet another show with a musical variety unlike any other. The musical extravaganza began at 2 pm welcoming guests with chill-out sounds by the beach.

Up to 10,000 people gathered on the sands of Nasimi Beach to watch their favorite artists. Audiences were embraced by Mat Kearney at sunset and serenaded by The Fray who promised to return.

Dizzee Rascal’s live performance enthralled the crowd as the night progressed with house music legends that dropped drum and bass as well as dubstep for the massive audience.

Frankie Knuckles, Krafty Kuts, DJ Fresh were followed by Dutch DJ Chuckie who generated a huge applaud from the crowd.

Chuckie handed over the primetime closing set to Saudi Arabia’s first official electronic dance music producer Omar Basaad who ensured that the Sandance festival would be a night to remember.
