JEDDAH — Al-Murjan Holding Company sponsored recently the annual gathering of some 370 orphaned boys and girls, along with their mothers and guardians under the slogan “Love Gathering”. The event was organized by Al-Faisaliah Charity Society in Jeddah.



On the occasion, Sheikh Sultan Khalid Bin Mahfouz, executive director, said: “Al-Murjan Holding Company pays great attention to orphans in promoting the principle of compassion and solidarity.



Organized annually by Al-Faisaliah Charity Society in Jeddah, it aims to enhance the relationship between the orphans and their mothers and guardians.”



He added: “We appreciate the efforts of Al-Faisalia in taking care of orphans — both boys and girls — and we always do our best to support them in pursuing their charitable mission.”



Khairiah Mohamed Noor, head of Princess Hossa bint Khalid Center for Social Development, lauded Al-Murjan Holding Company’s effort, and said: “ Al-Murjan Holding’s support for our activities and events for the welfare of the orphans, has helped us a lot in the organization of this special day to cheer up the children and provide opportunity for charity lovers to share this day with the orphans.”



Around 600 people participated in programs such as “Spacetoon” band and the clowns, in addition to various activities and games such as face painting, henna pattern, decoration of cup cakes, painting with red sand, photography, T-shirt printing, cups painting and puppets show. — SG
