JEDDAH – Saudi Transport Minister Jabara Al-Suraisri performed the official rite in the opening of the 2012 EXCS Luxury Motor Show at the Hilton Ballroom in Jeddah Tuesday.

Jaw-dropping new cars were displayed at the press preview, including the long-anticipated and star of this year’s show the Aston Martin Vanquish, debuting in the Middle East in Jeddah, along with the new edition Range Rover.

This year’s show features high-performance and luxury cars with no compromises on quality and a sense of the exotic.

The 2013 iterations of BMW and Mercedes along with Far Eastern carmakers are on display for those who opt for a more realistic appeal.

However. the show’s main attraction is the exotic that tends to find its way into the reality. Lamborghini did not disappoint.

The all-carbon fiber (down to the wheels) slice of temptation would look more at home in a Batman movie or the world of Judge Dread. It is the absolute edge of design and composite where Italian flair meets sheer fantasy. They get away with it and it is simultaneously gorgeous and challenging.

The show runs until today (Thursday).
