MANILA — Bong Revilla is pumped that his contract with GMA Network Inc. has been renewed. He also revealed that he will be starring in a new primetime soap called “Indio,” according to GMA News.



The Filipino senator and box-office actor said he felt excited about the project. “(My heart is here with GMA because I am a ‘Kapuso.’ How can I leave one station that never neglected me? Also, I am happy that I was entrusted with a project that was well conceptualized and that the network invested heavily in),” he was quoted as saying.



The epic series is the network’s biggest project for 2013, GMA Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Atty. Felipe L. Gozon said. — SG
