DUBAI — The musical battle is over between India and Pakistan as the winner of music reality show Sur Kshetra was crowned last Thursday.



However, music lovers from both countries will be kept in the dark as to who emerged the best singer among the contestants until Dec. 29, when the grand finale is scheduled to air.



Finalists Diljaan, Yash Raj, Nabeel, and Mulazim opened the show, performing with mentors Himesh Reshammiya (Team India) and Atif Aslam (Team Pakistan).



The evening also featured Bangladeshi singing sensation Laila, as well as musical greats Esmail Darbar, Suresh Wadkar, Ghulam Ali, and Sajjad Ali.



Actress Ayesha Takia hosted the show while Asha Bhosle, Abida Parveen and Runa Laila comprised the jury. — SG
