DUBAI — “Art Nights” returns after a successful series of vibrant cultural evenings at the heart of Dubai’s financial district, DIFC Gate Village, a contemporary urban area that is home to a collection of galleries, boutiques, restaurants and high-end cafes.

The ongoing series of Art Nights @ Gate Village has become an essential part of Dubai’s calendar, highlighting the important role that DIFC Gate Village plays in bringing art enthusiasts together.

The event has grown in popularity and esteem through the last two years, attracting everyone from art collectors and bankers to young creatives and families.

The unique location and lineup of exhibition openings as well as live acts create an attractive ambience and experience for visitors, and have come to play an integral role in promoting and supporting the arts and culture in Dubai.

Nabil Mohammed Ramadhan, Acting CEO, DIFC Properties, said: “These days art represents a new alternative asset class, and the DIFC recognizes not only the aesthetic benefits that art provides, but the interconnectedness it shares with the financial world. Art Nights @ Gate Village offers residents a unique experience in a vibrant setting, showcasing the exceptional works curated by DIFC’s many galleries.”

Art Nights will present several new exhibitions and viewings organized by a number of art galleries at the Gate Village.

There will also be an exclusive roundtable with Artist Fahd Burki, presented by Shelter Dubai, and an Urban Series film screening by Brownbook.

In support of regional talent, Art Nights has asked Fathima Mohiuddin — founder of The Domino, a UAE-based talent management company — to curate two live art showcases by artists Liz Ramos, German Fernandez and Darwin Guevara.
