JEDDAH — Police in Jeddah arrested an African national suspected of burgling a number of apartments and houses. The burglaries occurred in ground and first floor properties as the windows were within reach.

The burglar entered only rooms that did not have people inside and searched for keys to other rooms. He then locked rooms that had people inside before ransacking the rest of the house. Days of police investigations resulted in the discovery of a man surveying houses. Officers monitored him and when he returned to a property during the late hours of the night, they arrested him as he was trying to open a window.
