MUMBAI – Veteran Indian actress Zeenat Aman had vowed never to marry again after the demise of her husband Mazhar Khan in 1998.

But time is a great healer, and in an interview with the Hindustan Times, Aman said she is planning to marry again.

“I was dead against marriage after my children’s father (Mazhar Khan) passed away. The thought of it was dreadful. But our resolutions are nothing against’s God’s will. I have met someone and he’s become a significant part of my life, but I don’t want to discuss it any further. He is from India, and we are planning to marry. So I am in a much happier space today. I feel I am young again,” said Aman.

The 60-year-old screen scorcher of the 70s keeps the name of her future husband under wraps, but reveals that her sons, Azaan and Zahaan, are thrilled with her decision to marry.

“They told me ‘Go unwind, and be happy,’” said Aman. – SG
