DUBAI — Ghantoot defeated Bin Drai 9-5 Tuesday afternoon to record its second win in a row in the Dubai Polo Gold Cup Series 2013 at the Dubai Polo & Equestrian Club.



Team composed of Ali Al Merri, Juan Zubiaurre, Facundo Sola and Pelayo Berazadi put up another great performance against a tough team like Bin Drai that never gave up.



The game started complicated for Ghantoot that was overpowered by Bin Drai 3-2 in a full speed first chukker.



Things got better for Ghantoot from the second chukker, thanks to a great team work, always led by Facundo Sola, and well supported by his other teamates.



From the third chukker, Ghantoot took control of the game till the end.



The six teams that are taking part in the Dubai Polo Gold Cup Series are: Habtoor Polo, Mahra Polo, Zedan Polo, Bin Drai Polo, Abu Dhabi Polo and Ghantoot Polo.



Held under the patronage of Sheikh Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, the tournament has grown in tandem with the city of Dubai. This year it looks set to be more popular than ever and some of the most respected names from the world of polo are participating. — SG
