DUBAI — Ghantoot Polo team remained unbeaten in the qualifying, winning its three matches for a perfect record at the Silver Cup of the Dubai Polo Gold Cup Series 2013.



The team, which is composed of Ali Al-Merri, Juan Zubiaurre, Facundo Sola and Pelayo Berazadi, made a stunning comeback to defeat Zedan 8-4.

During three chukkas Zedan controlled the game, thanks to a superb Nachi Heguy. All the movements of his team started and ended from the mallet of the outstanding Argentinean polo player.



After two tied chukkas (2-2/3-3), Zedan led 4-3 in the beginning of the second half and it seemed that it will get its second straight win. But Ghantoot reacted just in time and after a great goal from Pelayo Berazadi, it ran away with the game at 8-4.



The six teams that are taking part in the Dubai Polo Gold Cup Series are: Habtoor Polo, Mahra Polo, Zedan Polo, Bin Drai Polo, Abu Dhabi Polo and Ghantoot Polo. — SG
