JEDDAH — An ostentatious Indian wedding, with a hint of Saudi touch, of Ilham Bayazeed, daughter of Hasan Ather Bin Hussain Bayazeed, and Ghulam Ghous Ansari, son of Ghulam Mohammed Ansari, was held at a local marriage hall here.

The marriage hall was beautifully adorned with fresh flowers.

The ceremony started with the recitation of a few verses from the Qur’an by Asadullah Sharieff followed by an eulogy by Burhanuddin Quadri and Ameenuddin Ansari.

“Sehra,” a traditional poetry recitation, recited by Saleem Quadri regaled the guests. It was penned by Naveed Afroz Naveed.

The guests also expressed happiness on the recent release of Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) legislator Akbaruddin Owaisi.

After the Nikah, the guests were treated to scrumptious Indian and Arabian cuisine. — SG
