MADINAH – The Al-Ras Education Administration presented a play titled “The Condition is we get forty” in Madinah, Friday. Named after a famous Arab saying, the statement related to an age-old practice of ask someone to keep silent about a wrong-doing in exchange for a share of the subsequent profits.
The play featured the plight of the Arab Peninsula before late King Abdul Aziz, the founder of the Kingdom, unified the country. At the time, ignorance about religion was rampant and people were easily tricked into believing heresies. The great King Abdul Aziz helped people back to the right path of Islam.
The audience was thoroughly enraptured by the performance — so much so they kept repeating phrases from the play after the final curtain.
