JEDDAH – In conjunction with SJAHI, Evans Cooling represented in Saudi Arabia by MMB Trading, recently organized an “Introduction to Waterless Engine Coolants” workshop for SJAHI students and instructors.
The aim of the workshop was to familiarize students and instructors with the benefits of Waterless Engine Coolants produced by Evans Cooling Systems of Connecticut, US. The training started with an introduction from Diego Roma, Marketing Manager of Evans Waterless Coolant, Saudi Arabia, then followed by the technical training conducted by Ishaq, Sales Engineer for Evans Waterless Coolants in Saudi Arabia.
A practical drill was held at the end of training session for offering hands-on experience to students and instructors.
Water-based coolants poses inherent problems in modern automotive cooling systems such as high pressure, low boiling point, toxicity, corrosion and electrolysis damage to aluminum engine components. Evans Waterless Coolant is a truly unique product with 0 percent water and a high boiling point of 190o Celsius offering engine protection against overheating damage under all operating conditions while environmentally friendly at the same time.
The product is a very promising advantage for the Saudi market which has been long plagued by engine overheating problems. Moreover, the complete absence of water in the coolant means corrosion and electrolysis damage is virtually eliminated. Waterless coolant also functions at negligible pressure extending the life of cooling system components and eliminating risk of failures due to excessive pressure. Complete absence of water means cooling system will never build rust, scale or corrosion for the lifetime of an engine offering substantial savings in cooling system maintenance.
“The workshop was a very interesting experience” said the instructors of SJAHI. Clearly, Evans Waterless Engine Coolant is the future. The waterless technology is a hand down winner at protecting engine metal, extending radiator service life and savings on coolant maintenance. There are no replacement and disposal costs associated with Evans Waterless Coolant because it never required changing. Just fill and drive for the life of an engine – a truly lifetime engine coolant.
“I found the participants to be incredibly vibrant people who were open to new ideas; they were not hesitant to ask questions in front of their colleagues,” said Ishaq.
Planning for the future, such training events will be held regularly by Evans Cooling Systems subsidiary in Saudi Arabia to familiarize students with latest trends in waterless engine coolants. Evans Waterless Coolants already enjoys strong repute and sales performance in United States, China and Europe with Middle East becoming the next rapidly expanding market. Years 2013 was a kick starter for Evans, achieving coolant of choice recognition by Honda World Motocross team and Kamaz Masters during Dakar 2013. — SG
