DAMASCUS — Syrian actress Eman Al-Asi slammed rumors that she has fallen in love with a businessman and that her marriage is imminent.

“I feel really upset whenever I hear these rumors about me.”

Al-Asi used to be married to a businessman but got divorced after just eight months.

In her new TV series “Runaway”, Al-Asi plays the role of a girl who elopes with her lover to get married. — SG
