Pakistan trade mission seeks Saudi tie-ups

JEDDAH — A high-profile trade delegation from the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI) arrived in Riyadh Monday, a statement from the Consulate General of Pakistan, Jeddah, said.

The FPCCI delegation, headed by its President Haji Fazal Kadir Khan, will remain in the Kingdom until May 26, said Sarfaraz Ahmad, Minister (Commercial).

After concluding the visit in Riyadh, the delegation will visit Madina, Makkah and Jeddah Chambers of Commerce and Industry to meet top officials and local businessmen in order to explore business opportunities and joint venture initiatives.

The 19-member includes businessmen from textiles, leather products, rice, spices, pharmaceuticals, construction materials, chemical, auto parts and machinery sectors.

In this context, a meeting has been arranged by the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Saturday at 10:30 A.M.

The delegation will also meet the Pakistani entrepreneurs and discuss matters of mutual interest. Further information can be obtained from Commercial Section, Consulate General of Pakistan. — SG
