DUBAI – General Motors Middle East announced the appointment of Maurice Williams as Regional Sales Director for Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Oman, effective May 1, 2013.



Williams is currently based in Naperville, Chicago and is Regional Director, Sales and Marketing Chevrolet, North Central Region. He has worked for General Motors in North America for more than 28 years.



In his new position, which will see him relocate to Dubai, Williams will be responsible for developing and executing plans to achieve key sales targets in Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Oman. His role will primarily entail driving sales growth and further expanding General Motors Middle East Operations’ market share.



Williams will report to Fadi Ghosn, Regional Sales Director for General Motors Middle East Operations. He will also serve as a member of the strategy team, chaired by John Stadwick, President and Managing Director of General Motors Middle East Operations.
