averda, the region’s largest provider of environmental solutions, has launched its PROSHRED onsite confidential document destruction service in Saudi Arabia. The PROSHRED service is a first of its kind in the Kingdom.

PROSHRED - which is also available in over 30 locations in the United States and the Middle East - offers its customers a fully secure, convenient, cost-effective and environmentally sound, automated document destruction service. Utilizing state-of-the-art processing vehicles, documents deposited in locked consoles, provided for free, are shredded onsite at the customers’ premises using a unique touch-less system. On completion of the process, customers receive a “Certificate of Destruction” as well as an annual “Treesaver Certificate” certifying the number of trees that had been saved as a result of using the service. The waste materials generated by the process are fully recycled.

“We are excited about the potential for PROSHRED in this important new market. As the Kingdom’s first and only specialized document destruction service we are keen to cater to our customers’ needs for a secure shredding solution,” said Camille Kurban, averda KSA Managing Director. “As a company, averda is committed to providing our customers and partners, with a comprehensive range of environmental management services and our decision to launch PROSHRED in Saudi Arabia is a reflection of that commitment.”

In addition to confidential document shredding, and as part of averda’s commitment to the environment and ensuring the security and safety of the community, the PROSHRED service includes shredding all kinds of expired liquid-free food, credit cards and other plastic cards. The service is also extended to shredding of uniforms, hard disks and any other confidential discarded material.
