DUBAI — One of Gulf’s great actresses Soad Abdullah said she feels annoyed every time she grabs a newspaper or magazine and sees the title “Gulf Cinderlla” preceding her name, Al-Bilad daily reported.

“I’m 60 years old. How could I still be called Cinderella?” she said.

The sexagenarian actress has recently finished filming her scenes for “This is our father’s house,” a TV series which revolves around the negative effects of divorce on society. The series also stars Abdullah’s best friend and another renowned actress Hayat Al-Fahd. — SG
