MANILA — Ai Ai delas Alas tearfully confirmed she has separated from businessman Jed Salang after only one month of marriage.



The comedienne cited physical abuse as the reason for the split. She told “The Buzz” on Sunday that the last straw came on May 2 when Salang dragged her through the floor on the very day she bought him his dream car, a Chevrolet Camaro Bumblebee.



She said he had been angry that she did not agree to spend their lunarversary at the casino.



Delas Alas and Salang, who is 20 years her junior, were married in civil rites in Las Vegas on April 3. She said she was leaving it up to her lawyers to settle legal matters in the breakup. — SG
