ABHA – An African weapons smuggler was killed in a police shootout while resisting arrest. Officers raided the cave in which the alleged smuggler was hiding in Abha mountains. Asir Police spokesman Lt. Col. Abdullah Al-Shathan said they were tipped off about the illegal activities of an African gang whose members were selling weapons. Officers arrested three of them during an ambush and seized 18 weapons. After combing the mountains, they found the cave and arrested other gang members.
