MANILA — Francis M’s music lives on in a new video starring his son Elmo Magalona and the Philippines’ late “master rapper” himself.

The father and son appear to have “collaborated” in a newly released video of the latter’s hit song “Kaleidoscope World.”

How did it happen? The video actually features footages shot 18 years apart, and the consensus is that the mashup is quite remarkable. “The video has achieved a tug at my heart. It has surpassed what I expected in terms of quality,” Elmo’s mother Pia told Yahoo’s OMG. — SG
