HAIL — A Saudi man threatened to commit suicide by jumping off a building at Hail University if it did not accept him for a master’s course. The man climbed to the top of the admission building and threatened to jump if his admission application was rejected. The Saudi man alerted university officials by sending an SMS to the dean of admissions. After intensive negotiations between the Saudi man and university security, he surrendered himself. The man works in the health sector and applied for a master’s degree.
