DUBAI — Dubai has another prominent landmark to boast about: the world’s tallest “twisting” building.



Named the Infinity Tower, it was officially opened in Dubai Marina earlier this week. According to albawaba.com, this building has gained international recognition due to its remarkable features. Not only does it twist 90 degrees, it’s funky shape has an ecological element, its shape reduces wind forces on the tower.



The tower comprises 75 storeys, 570 residential units, including 495 apartments. Standing at a whopping height of 307 meters, the tower took eight years to complete. — SG
