SIBN’s visit to Jharkhand productive

A Saudi Indian Business Network (SIBN), functioning under the patronage of Consulate General of India, delegation attended the Jharkhand flagship event – “Global Investors Summit (GIS) 2017” on Feb. 16-17 at Ranchi, India. The Summit aims to establish Jharkhand as a premier investment destination for foreign and domestic investors in India.

The Consulate General of India, Jeddah is actively involved in the promotion of foreign investments in India and such business delegation aids in the realization of this objective.

Finance Minister Arun Jaitley inaugurated the Jharkhand government’s maiden two-day Summit in the presence of Chief Minister Raghubar Das as well as other dignitaries and delegates. More than 9,000 delegates from India and delegations from 32 countries participated in the summit, including the SIBN business delegation from Saudi Arabia.

Mir Gazanfar Ali Zaki, general secretary of SIBN and who led the SIBN delegation, said it was a very good opportunity for bilateral trade between two countries and there are many opportunities to invest in India and Saudi Arabia.

Hassan Rafa Alamri, International Business Consultant MBN Luxury Lines, urged the in Jeddah to organize more such tours to India for Saudi businessmen.

Hasan M. Al Shibani, partner United Arabia, said he benefited for this trip of two days. He said more trade visits would benefit both Saudi and Indian businessmen. The SIBN delegation received positive response for the upcoming Indian Expo-2017 in Oct. 22-24. — SG
