AVIATION and Media Summit organizer Air Arabia announced Sunday that over 100 editors and media representatives from across the Arab world will gather at the third edition of the summit, which will be held on June 25-27, 2013 in Salalah, Oman.
Themed “Aviation and Tourism: Enabler of Economic Growth,” Arab Aviation and Media Summit 2013 is aimed at exchanging constructive dialogue between two key stakeholders - industry business leaders and the media fraternity, and put spotlight on key challenges currently faced by the sector.
Organized by Air Arabia in partnership with Oman’s Ministry of Tourism, Airbus, CNBC Arabia and CFM, the two-day event will be inaugurated by Salem Nasser Said A; Aufi, CEO of Oman Public Authority for Civil Aviation, and Undersecretary Maitha bint Saif bin Majid Al-Mahrouqi, Ministry of Tourism, Oman.
Mahrouqi will also lead a high profile panel of speakers discussing and debating the challenges and opportunities faced by the industry in the wider Arab world.
