JEDDAH — Lothers CC in the Afternoon, while Indomie United Universal, Al-Saudi Green, Super Cricket Club, Sadafco, MFCC and Deccan Youth in the Morning emerged winners in the WPCA Summer League here recently.

The match between MM Group and Apex Express ended in a tie.

Lothers downed OMD Tuskers by 2 wickets. OMD Tuskers posted 110 for 8. Ramees stroked 23 and Juffail 20. Salah took 2-12 and Yasar 2-23. Lothers reached 111 for 8 in 108 balls. Suraj was the top scorer with 36 and Shibu 17. Shamsuddin took 3 for 17 and Mahesh 2-15.

Indomie United Universal Cups defeated Al-Mazroi Salonpas by 8 wickets. Al-Mazroi Salonpas posted 166 for 7. Mohsin hammered 52 in 44 balls as he added 123 for the second wicket with Faisal Patel who made 57 in 42 balls. Ahmed took 3-27 and Rashid 3 for 20.

Indomie United Universal reached 169 for 2 in 98 balls. Tariq Siddiqui hammered 67 in 42 balls. He added 64 with Ahmed (26) and then 60 with Bilal Ahmed (51 in 32 balls).

Al-Saudi Green prevailed over Cousins XI by 47 runs. Al-Saudi Green piled up 191 for 7. Nazeer Farooqui hammered 58 in 39 balls as he added 125 in 71 balls for the fourth wicket with Awais who made 47 in 34 balls after a mini collapse. Imran Kidwai stroked an unbeaten 15. Aqeel took 2-37.

Cousins XI was stranded at 144 for 5. Irfan Khan scored 30, while Nazeer remained unbeaten on 47 and the two added 87 after they were tottering at 57 for 5. Haroon was retired hurt for 17 and Shafoon made 15. Nadeem scalped 2-24.

Super Cricket Club won against INMA by 35 runs. Super Cricket Club was bowled out for 137. Sithik made 33, Farooq 27 and Vaseem 21. Aman scalped 2-29, Nadeem 2-31, Ikram 2-18 and Zeeshan 2-15.

INMA, in response, was bundled out for 102. Nazeem scored 29 and Farooq 17. Fayaz grabbed 3 for 29, Hayat 2-13, Adnan 2-19 and Altaf 2-26.

Sadafco beat Arcoma by 5 wickets. Arcoma posted 133 for 9. Shareef scored 29, Ismail 16, Ilyas 15 and Ayaz 23. Wajid grabbed 3 for 10, Ehtesham 3 for 24 and Tauseef 2-12.

Sadafco got to the victory target of 136 for 5 in 99 balls. Ahmed smashed an unbeaten 67 in 56 balls and Saqib was unbeaten on 22 as both stitched together 74 runs in 45 balls for the unbroken sixth wicket after they were reduced 72 for 5. Fayaz scalped 2-34 and Ilyas 2-30.

MFCC humbled Royal Brothers by 71 runs. MFCC racked up 197 for 8. Jibran hit 57 in 34 balls. He added 108 runs in 61 balls for the fifth wicket with Farhan who made 67 in 35 balls to get to 167 for 6 after they were reeling at 59 for 4. Naveed made 24. Hamid Khan grabbed 4-39 and Abdullah 2-36.

Royal Brothers crumbled to 126. Waqas Junior made 28, Hamid Khan 37, Muneer Khan 16 and Hanif 17. Mahmood took 2-23, Shafaqat 2-17, Tayyab 2-6 and Asif 2-34.

Apex Express tied against MM Group. Apex Express compiled 145 for 8. Rizwan was run out for 68 off 50 balls as he added 52 with Abubakr (14) after a top order slump. Ameen took 2-9 and Rahim 2-27.

MM Group was restricted to 145. Sajjad made 23 and Khurram 26. MM Group requiring 5 runs with 2 wickets in hand to win in the 19th over could only make 4 and lost both the wickets. Abubakr took 3-18, Rizwan 2-13, Hamid 2-15 and Hasham 2-44.

Deccan Youth crushed Jeddah tigers by 62 runs. Deccan Youth produced 148-6. Rizwan top scored with an unbeaten 67 in 58 balls and Ibrahim 20. Muzaffar scalped 3-24.

Jeddah Tigers was restricted to 86 for 8. Musafir made 23 and Khalid 34. Khalid took 2-16, Ibrahim 2-17 and Arif 2 for none.
