Dammam — Saudi authorities have announced that they have killed Qatif’s “most dangerous terrorist” named Jaafar Bin Hassan Makki Al-Mubaireek, Al Arabiya English reported on Saturday.

Al-Mubaireek, who was killed on Friday night during a security operation in the city of Saihat, is considered to be one of the “most dangerous terrorists of Qatif.”

He was involved in terror attacks in the Eastern Province.

He was listed as a wanted person last October on charges of committing a number of terrorist acts in Qatif, including shooting at civilians and public facilities and helping suspected terrorists.

Meanwhile, a border guard soldier was killed and another was injured in a shooting attack on their patrol vehicle in Qatif late on Thursday.

The slain soldier was identified as Mohammed Hazai.

The attack came days after four terrorists were executed.

The Interior Ministry said the four were executed for incidents that took place in Qatif. — SG
