King Salman arrives in Tangier, Morocco, to spend vacation

TANGIER
- Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman arrived in Morocco on Monday evening on a private vacation.

Upon arrival at Ibn Battouta Airport in the port city of Tangier, the King was received by Morocco’s Prime Minister Saadeddin Al-Othmani, Governor of Tangier Tatwan Mohammed Yaaqoobi; Acting Commander of Tangier military garrison Mohammed Al-Murabet; and a number of other senior Moroccan officials.

Those who received the King also included Prince Mansour Bin Saud; Prince Talal Bin Saud; Saudi Ambassador to Morocco Dr. Abdulaziz Khoja; Saudi military Attache in Morocco Brig. Gen. Staff Nabil Al-Ayed and the embassy staff members.

King Salman then headed for his guest residence. The monarch was accompanied by a number of princes, ministers, and officials.

Earlier the King was seen off at King Abdulaziz International Airport, Jeddah by Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, Makkah emir and adviser to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques; Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy premier and minister of defense; Prince Mishal Bin Majed, governor of Jeddah; a number of princes, ministers, and officials.

King Salman issued on Monday a royal order deputizing Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman to administer the State’s affairs and take care of the interests of the people during the period of his absence from the Kingdom.
