JEDDAH — Pakistan Haj Volunteers Group (PHVG) has started the registration of Haj volunteers to serve pilgrims for the year of 1438H/2017G.
Shedding light on the work strategy of PHVG and condition of registration the spokesperson told Saudi Gazette that those Pakistanis who are 16 years and older and holding valid Saudi resident permit (Iqama) and must have performed Haj already are eligible for registration.
He said members from Pakistani community living in Saudi Arabia wishing to volunteer must submit their interest by completing the online volunteer form at http://www.hajj-volunteers.com
He further said the PVHG is a non-governmental and non-political body, which serves Haj pilgrims without any discrimination. As a particular aim it solely focuses on service to attain the blessings of Allah in this world and in the hereafter.
He said during volunteerism these volunteers will not earn any financial or non-financial benefits. He will only have to perform his duties by donating his services to earn the reward from Allah.
He thanked the support and cooperation of Pakistan Embassy Riyadh, Consulate General Jeddah and Pakistan Hajj Mission in PHVG operation.
