King Salman receives Sheikh Abdullah Bin Ali Al-Thani in Morocco

TANGIER – Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman received at his residence in Tangier, Morocco, on Thursday evening Sheikh Abdullah Bin Ali Bin Abdullah Bin Jassem Al-Thani, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported Thursday night.
During the reception, King Salman welcomed Sheikh Abdullah and reaffirmed the deep historic relations between the peoples of the Kingdom and Qatar.
The King confirmed the Kingdom’s keenness and continuous concern for the comfort of the Haj pilgrims and to mobilize all its potentials to enable them to perform their Haj rites with ease and peace of mind.
Meanwhile, Sheikh Abdullah expressed his profound thanks and appreciation to King Salman for issuing his directives approving what Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman referred to the King on allowing Qatari pilgrims to enter the Kingdom via Salwa border post so as to perform their Haj rites as well as allowing all Qatari citizens, who wish to enter the Kingdom to perform Haj without e-permits, according to the mediation by Sheikh Abdullah.
Sheikh Abdullah said that King Salman’s order to transport all Qatari pilgrims from King Fahd International Airport in Dammam and Al-Ahsa International Airport, his order to send Saudi Arabian Airlines planes to Doha Airport so as to transport all Qatari pilgrims to Jeddah and the Monarch’s hosting of the Qatari pilgrims at his personal expense within the King Salman Guests Program for Haj and Umrah, all these confirm the deep ties of brotherhood between the Saudi and Qatari people and between the leadership in the Kingdom and the royal family in Qatar.
All had dinner with the King. The reception was attended by many princes, ministers and senior officials. – SPA
