Pakistan’s I–Day celebrated in Makkah

JEDDAH — Members from Pakistani community living in Makkah celebrated the Independence Day of Pakistan in a high profile manner.

Waheed Gilani, Sector Nine Commander of Pakistan Haj Mission, attended the function as the chief guest.

In his address, Gilani highlighted the importance of independence and urged the Pakistani community to follow the Quaid-e-Azam’s footsteps with the same zeal and love for Pakistan.

Many prominent Saudi personalities of Makkah also attended the function. Speakers and guests committed to leave no stone unturned for the progress of Pakistan.

Special supplications for the progress, security, development, prosperity and peace in Pakistan as well as in Saudi Arabia were held during the event.

Well-known social figures and active members of the community in Makkah thanked and congratulated all guests and speakers. At the end Independence Day cake cutting ceremony was held.
