JEDDAH – The underpass on Prince Muhammad Bin Abdulaziz (Tahliah) Road underpass, which intersects Prince Majed Road, will be opened to traffic next week, according to Jeddah Mayor Hani Abu Ras.

He said the project took five years to complete and was supposed to be opened last year but paperwork and permit delays pushed the completion date back.

Abu Ras added there are some similarly important projects that have almost been completed and will be opened soon. One of them is the Palestine Road intersection with Prince Miteb (Arbaeen) Road.

Others include King Fahd Road intersection with Sari Road, King Fahd Road intersection with Hera Street, King Abdulaziz Road intersection with Ismail Abu Dawood Street, and Prince Muhammad Bin Abdulaziz Road intersection with Al-Makarona Street.

The mayor announced that the mayoralty would implement a project for Prince Muhammad Bin Abdulaziz Road intersection with Madinah Road and Prince Majed Road intersection with Al-Television Street next year.
